Google Creative Lab
I worked on fifteen confidential projects, with a mission to envision and develop future Google products.
I worked at Google Creative Lab in New York City during 2013-2014. While the specifics are confidential, our leadership described our projects as putting the “fiction” in “science fiction.” Some areas of exploration in the Creative Lab that were publicly shared while I was working there: quantum computing, balloon-based internet access, and the Google Glass wearable.
My role was to contribute to this process through concepts, design, animation, and prototyping. I collaborated with multidisciplinary teams that included creative technologists, developers, engineers, writers, film makers, and other designers like myself.
