It was a pleasure to present “Design for Non-Profits and Grass Roots Projects” at the HOW Design Conference in Boston. I felt humbled to be on the same program with authors like Malcolm Gladwell and Dan Pink, and creatives like Johnny Cupcakes, Dana Tanamachi-Williams, and Stefan Sagmeister. The event took over the entire Hynes Convention Center in Boston for a week with over 3,000 attendees.

I spoke about using design as a tool for social change through my Loving Day project, as well as work for Brooklyn Historical Society “Crossing Borders, Bridging Generations” and Brooklyn-based educational non-profit World Up.
