The Times Square Alliance Visitor Center started as a landmarked theater space, later transforming into a space for tourists to discover the unique historical significance and cultural offerings of Times Square. I worked on the concept, design, and animation of the entry vestibule, which features two walls of LED lights. I designed a system of custom typefaces to match the density of lights in the grid. I created a montage of Times Square footage throughout history, which is displayed simultaneously through seven video screens mounted in historic poster cases. Further inside the space, I designed three exhibits with custom signage and media elements. The physical space was redesigned by WXY Architecture. I worked on this project while at Emmy-award winning design studio Imaginary Forces. This project was featured in a postcard of Times Square.
